Snow Furries (An Alpine Grove Romantic Comedy Book 4) Kindle Edition
Map reading has never been her strong suit, and Becca's navigational skills are pushed to the limit in a town that doesn't believe in road signs. When the supposed-to-be flurries turn out to be a record-setting blizzard, the trip literally goes downhill after Becca's car slides nose-down off the road into a ditch. Accompanied by his huge mountain dog, a scruffy stranger wearing a massive coat with dozens of pockets drags Becca to safety. In the darkness of a small log cabin in the woods, Becca confesses far too many secrets to Jack Sheridan. Sure, if she'd known she'd end up trapped in the middle of nowhere with a guy named Jack, she never would have watched that scary movie. But maybe Jack isn't such a dull boy after all.

More Alpine Grove
Many people have asked about upcoming books. Yes, I am working on more. You can always find out the latest on my web site SusanDaffron.com.
Although each book is a stand-alone story, because Alpine Grove is a small town, many characters tend to reappear, so I think it's more fun if you read them in order. The correct reading order is:
1. Chez Stinky
2. Fuzzy Logic
3. The Art of Wag
4. Snow Furries
5. Bark to the Future
6. Howl at the Loon
7. The Good, the Bad, and the Pugly
8. The Treasure of the Hairy Cadre
9. The Luck of the Paw
10. Daydream Retriever
11. The Hound of Music
Why 1995?The Alpine Grove novels are set in 1995-1997 and a number of people have asked why. The short answer is because reading about people texting each other is boring. I don't like it in other books I've read, so I chose to set my novels at a time when not everyone had a smart phone.

If you have other questions about the book, please ask. I love hearing from readers!

- Reviewed in the United States on January 17, 2015I chose the rating because I picked up the book and did not want to put it down. It is a sweet romance, has dogs and snow. The only thing more to ask for is a little more complexity or perhaps mystery. Reminds me of Joanne Rosss or Brenda Novak.
